Kunninpurathu Dharmasastha Temple is situated in Parippu, a small village about 5 miles away from Kottayam town in Kerala,India.  The history is that the Idol here was given to a devotee of Shabarimala Sri Dharmasastha by the Lord HIMSELF when the devotee was not able to travel due to old age. The devotee took the idol and it was installed on top of a hill in his own village Parippu as instructed by the Lord. Hanta BhAgyam JanAnAm!
